Cryosphere Pavilion, 13:00-14:30  GMT+2

This event, organized by the Adaptation at Altitude consortium, focuses on the impacts and risks from upstream-downstream hazards in mountains, which have cascading and compounding detrimental effects on local and downstream ecosystems and billions of people worldwide.

Introductory inputs on the latest IPCC assessment. measures such as nature-based solutions, and experiences in responding no to these risks are followed by a panel discussion on engaging scientific insights and practical knowledge with policy action in mountains.
