The "Prix de Quervain" for Polar and High Altitude Research is attributed to young scientists for outstanding achievements in their MA or PhD thesis or other research projects. The "Prix de Quervain" is announced annually, alternately for research activities related to polar regions or high altitude research. In 2021, the call was open in the field of high altitude research.
At the occasion of the "Prix de Quervain", a symposium featuring renowned speakers, the authors of the awarded MA and PhD projects will present their research results to an interdisciplinary public.
The next symposium takes place in Bern on Nov. 18th 2021.
