First International Meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Research and Innovation in Mountain Environments.
Lacmont 2021 aims to structure the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Research and Innovation in Mountain Environments, based on the integration and planning of cooperative actions between institutions in countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. The objective is to work together for mountain environments sustainability, strengthening research and building new forms of international cooperation.
The objective of Lacmont is to obtain an overview of knowledge about mountains areas in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is also expected to strengthen and expand research actions such as projects, conferences, publications, and other forms of international cooperation, including the search for public and private sector funds.
The event will bring interdisciplinary and diverse sectors experiences that work in mountainous areas such as agriculture, tourism, culture, and the environment.
