Alpine Anthropocene - What future for our mountains?
A Photographic Exhibition by Etienne Maury
As a region with fragile ecosystems and varied human activities largely dependent on their environment, the French Alps are on the front line of climate change. Scientific work is measuring the traces already present in the landscapes and foreshadows the changes that local communities will have to face.
From summits to metropolises, this aesthetic and documentary research explores the challenges of these territories for the decades to come.
The venue La Plateforme will be open to the public: Saturday and Sunday 19-20 September from 10 am to 7 pm continuously.
