Interested in working at the World Biodiversity Forum (WBF) 2024 in Davos, Switzerland? If you're technically skilled, excel in IT, and speak English fluently, seize the opportunity to be a session room helper at this major international conference from 16 - 20 June 2024.

Tasks

You will be assigned to a session room for the four days of the conference. You are in charge of the presentation laptop, help with the upload of presentations, make sure everything runs smoothly, help the speakers, provide support in all matters within your room, and act as a go-between with the conference management and the congress technicians in case of need.

Working Hours

There are usually three parallel sessions per day, with 8-10 sessions running in parallel, as well as plenary lectures at other times. The WBF needs one helper per room. An overview schedule for the week can be found here.

Benefits

You will be paid 1’000 CHF for your work and have free admission to the whole conference, including twice-daily coffee breaks and lunches. As an extra, you will also be invited to the conference dinner on Wednesday, 19 June 2024, not included is the icebreaker. You will be responsible for covering expenses related to accommodation, additional meals, and travel. It will not be possible to present your own research, neither as a poster nor as a talk.  Applicants with a background in a topic relevant to the conference will be accepted preferentially.
