GLF Youth Ambassador ProgramThe Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) invites early career researchers to participate in its innovative social media outreach mentoring and internship project.

The GLF aims to accelerate action towards the creation of more resilient, equitable, profitable, productive, and healthy landscapes, and towards the achievement of the UNFCCC Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030).

As part of this, it has developed its Youth Ambassador Program, which is open to students or young professionals up to the age of 35 who are eager to learn more about online/social media and are interested, working in, or studying agriculture, environment, or sustainable development. All participants will be closely involved in supporting online media outreach for the GLF, while working in different languages and using a variety of tools and platforms.

This year’s program includes a hands-on training workshop in Bonn, Germany, 16-18 December, ahead of the Forum itself at the World Conference Center Bonn,19-20 December. During the Forum, a practical exercise will take place for participants, after which 10 selected candidates will be invited to take part in a one year partnership.

Applications must be submitted by 30 November 2017.
