The Biosphere Futures database, a global collection of social-ecological scenarios "creating a commons to strengthen the practice," is seeking scenario and case study contributions from the mountain research community.

The Biosphere Futures Database, hosted by the Stockholm Resilience Centre, holds a large collection of case studies, references to key literature, practical resources and more. Search for, connect with, and learn from case studies across geographic locations, ecosystems, spatial scales, and the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030.

A community of practice enables access to tools, ideas, and people. By contributing to this database practitioners can showcase their own work, discover similar work, and help develop a community of practice. In collaboration with the Mountain Research Initiative and its Working Groups, we hope to help support a community of practice dealing specifically with relevant cases of change and the commons in mountain social-ecological systems.
