The University of Liverpool is looking for an outstanding post-doctoral research fellow to work on the UKRI funded 'Ice Sheet and Glacier Stability in a Warming World' project, joining the glaciology group in the School of Environmental Sciences. As a candidate, you should be undertaking internationally-relevant research into the remote sensing of glacial environments and the stability of marine terminating glaciers/ice sheets, with a track record of publishing excellent research in recognised leading journals.

Salary: £34,188 - £39,610 pa

The Institute for Earth Observation at Eurac Research is a dynamic research institute analysing and assessing the root causes of pressing risks related to climate change and natural hazards in order to support and inform adaptation planning and risk management. It studies climate factors and hazards using modelling techniques, machine learning, earth observation, and interdisciplinary and social science methods with the aim of improving understanding of vulnerability and exposure factors.
