The II International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions, part of Mountains 2018, invites proposals for symposia until 25 February 2018.
Taking place in Nova Friburgo, Brazil, 10-14 December, Mountains 2018 aims to promote sustainable development in mountains based on science, knowledge, and innovation. It is comprised of two events: the III Workshop on Sustainable Development in Mountain Environments, and the II International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions.
The purpose of the II International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions is to share innovative experiences of mountain scientific knowledge, and to promote debate on new directions and on how research can contribute to practice. It is now inviting proposals for symposia that contribute to the overall theme of ‘Connecting science to practice’ and are linked to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

by 25 February 2018.
