Expert Workshop on Sustainable Tourism in the Alps: Who does the job?
So far, there are hardly any individuals or institutions who bring together and link the many good, but mostly regionally limited, approaches to sustainable tourism. This awareness is reflected in all conferences, projects, working groups and networks dealing with the topic of sustainability in tourism.
At this specialist workshop in Innsbruck, tourism experts from all Alpine countries will for the first time jointly develop tasks and responsibilities for a body that deals with sustainable tourism on a supraregional, national, and transnational level. The result of the workshop should be a recommendation for action which shows the necessity of this 'caretaker' and a corresponding, concrete job profile.
Take the opportunity to take part in this process and bring your ideas and knowledge to the Tourism Workshop in Innsbruck on 5 November 2018 from 10:00 to 16:15 in interactive group work and discussion rounds!
